SweetIM

SweetIM’s goal is to help you better express yourself, to help you improve the way you communicate with others. With that goal in mind, the application puts animations, emoticons, sound effects, and videos at your disposal. You can access them from your Internet Explorer (IE) or Firefox browser and you can access them from your messenger application - Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, AIM, and ICQ.

To get started with SweetIM you will have to go through a standard, simple, setup procedure: download an installer, run it, follow the instructions it presents. You will be asked to install a browser toolbar, set your homepage and new tab page to SweetPacks, and set your default search to SweetPacks. Once the installation completes, your default browser will launch, and you will be presented with a “thank you for installing our product” page.

Access to SweetIM’s functionality can be done via the browser or via your messenger application.

If you’re a Firefox user, you will notice SweetPacks toolbar at the top of the browser’s interface. From said toolbar you can access the following: SweetPacks Home, SweetPacks Search, Tracks Eraser, Web Search, Video/Photo/Music Search, Dictionary, Google/Yahoo/Bing Search, view and share smileys with others, play games, post smileys on Facebook.

If you are a Yahoo! Messenger user, you will notice a new toolbar within the conversation window. From it you can access the following: emoticons, winks, video winks, display pictures, special content, animated alphabet keyboard.

The simple truth of the matter is that SweetIM puts a lot of cool emoticons at your disposal. Use them to make your conversations more interesting.
